i want to get a laptop, but what is the best kind to get. i don’t need anything super high tech, just a basic laptop. i am looking for good deals to. inexpensive, but not cheap

    You should have went on Black Friday to the Apple Store or Best Buy, they had sales. Best Buy still has some sales. check out their website.

  5. I am looking for the same for my wife for Christmas.
    You didn’t mention any “options”.
    I have been looking at
    They have some nice laptops at around $500.
    A Little too much for me.
    I have also been looking on e-bay.
    Maybe some “tech-ie” looking to up-grade his laptop and sell his old one. Lot’s of great deals there, but be careful what you buy used.

  6. i have a dell inspiron 1501.
    mine cost about 1500 from dell, with personalized features.
    i believe i saw in a walmart magizine from a dell 1501 for about 500. go to their website :D

    I’d say go with the Dell Vostro 1700, It’s just as good if not better then the Inspiron and it costs less…currently they have a sale on it too lowering the price by 500 dollars (from 1200 to 750)

    it crazy good and its screen and performance are amazing.
