laptop!!!???

You should let them know how you feel and tell them if they take away the certain things you always used to do, then you’re never going to be happy in their house.
Be thankful you are in a stable environment. Then calmly tell them the benefits of having your laptop, tell them what you do with it (and show them calmly). Then ask what behaviors that you need to have in order for them to trust you having it.
Thats sucks it shouldnt be that way. I mean I know they are going to be your new parents but its not right. I think 14 is okay to have a computer/laptop kids at age 9 are getting them now. You should talk to them and tell them this is going to be hard for you starting a new life with them and you have friends that you need to keep intouch with. they can put like a schedule. like from 4-5 u can use it and then they can take it or something like that come up with a plan.

I had a laptop when I was 12, and my dad baught it for me. How can you be too young. Just tell them how important it is to you, and why it is important. I would never let anyone take my laptop, I don’t even let anyone touch it cuz it is so important to me. I would be ticked and revolt if my parents tried to take mine.
